Bonnie Plants partnered up with the extremely popular YouTube channel "Hot Ones" to dive in and talk about edible heat that specifically comes from plants! After sponsoring two videos, one interviewing Jennifer Garner and the other hosting Jackass star Steve-O, the infamous host of "Hot Ones" Sean Evans sat down with Smoking Ed Currie to talk about how he invented the Carolina Reaper - The hottest chilli pepper in the world. After the interview, Bonnie released a limited time offer to buy and grow your own hot pepper packs including the Carolina Reaper, which sold out in less than a week. 

 

I had the honor of supporting this campaign and took ownership of creating the animated GIFS that took over social media, linking to the page that sold out of the peppers. I ended up having to make an extra animation saying "Carolina Reapers are back!" That's how well the campaign and art direction came together.
