"Understanding Me" is a photo/video exhibition about the LGBTQIA+ community and our journey with gender and pronouns. "Understanding Me" debuted at the Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island on May 8th. 

 

I had the honor of filming the documentary which highlighted 12 different models and their stories surrounding gender and pronouns. Above, are all of the interviews compiled into a 30 minute short film, which will soon be in the eyes of film festivals. I also animated Lex Barberio's (the creator/creative director of this project) logo in the beginning of the film, giving it a neon glow to match the aesthetic of the pieces.
